There were many winners on the day, who bagged golfing equipment including clubs, souvenirs, a round-trip air ticket to Dubai, bags, bicycles and other intems.

There were also prizes for players in the hole-in-one, nearest to the pin, and longest drive categories. The tournament is a major event in the Lao golfing calendar and raises the game of golfers, increasing number of golfers, while giving them vital match play experience. All in all, they learn about what will be involved when they compete at international events in the future.

The closing ceremony was attended by the Managing Director of Lao Brewery Company Ltd., Mr Henrik Andersen, and other senior company staff.

The Carlsberg Golf Classic 2018 was organized by the Lao Brewery Company Ltd.. to mark visit Laos Year 2018 and to celebrate the 170th anniversary of globally popular Danish beer label. Lao Brewery Company Ltd. has  confirmed its support for golf with the staging of another two tournaments planned in Vientiane this year, which will extend to five in 2019, in a bid to further develop the sport nationally.
