On July 29th, 2010 Lao Brewery Co., Ltd (LBC) held a press conference to announce its 6 month business results.
In the first half of 2010, LBC reported total growth of 19% in which beer sales growth of 17% and drinking water growth of 47% compare to the same period last year. The Company has contributed more than 420 billion kips (US$51.2 million) to the national budget; over 1.4 billion Kips (US$ 170,000) to fund social activities and government activities including celebrations to mark the 450th anniversary of Vientiane Capital. In addition, the company has also donated about 1.3 billion kips (US$156,000) in fields of environment and education. 
One of our achievements has also shown in the quality award that Beerlao and Tigerhead drinking water both have been awarded Gold Medal and Grand Gold Medal in the 49th Monde Selection 2010 held in Wiesbaden, Germany which previously Beerlao and Tigerhead drinking water also received Medals in 2003 and 2006.
